Once again, the music gets louder and all them Frenchies start dancing even more, which is bad news, because now I have to keep up with them. In between breaths Remi tells me his special venue, now 3 years old came as a consequence of constructing a kindred spirited enclave where similar minded folks and friends could come and enjoy each other and good food. A concept I would have to admit that has worked out rather well.

Then it’s the maitre d’s (Ali Niroomand) turn to get me drunk (damn these French! They wont let you be miserable!) – again and again he brings me and my new found friends more drinks, the dj in the background laughing so much at the incredible folly he has created. Of course I too know my limits so when the desert finally comes out I’m sitting there mincing it up, licking my fingers, savoring the sweet delicacies every tiny mouthful at a time. So bloody scrumptious!

And again we go dancing, this way, that way, laughing, spilling our drinks, rejoicing, amongst wonderful new friends. What could one say- so much joy, so brilliant. I trust that my delicious little hangover has finally gone. Thank you Remi and Ali and all you wonderful beautiful people, I had so much fun. If only one of you had the decency to collect me off the curb this early morning…blah!
