One design group that caught this author’s eye was that of Andrew Schles who incorporated Flemish inspired themes from Belgium to create a makeshift dinner party theme with chairs and table emanating from shipping paletes, a roving chandelier ball with octopus candle wings, and a painted background that reminded one of the 17 th century inspired Flemish scenes.
With good cheer, a wonderful turnout, and tasty canapes making their way round – it was a delightful evening to be sure and I’m betting someone ended up spending a lot of money to buy Derek’s room- as they rightly should.
