Das Komittee were the final act and indeed intriguing, seeing as they actually came from Germany. With attention to romantic notions, outfits that reminded this author of outfits once worn in the American civil war of the 1860’s, provocative buttoning and wide woolen sheath jackets it was a refreshing delight to see the boys and girls thump down the runway. By this stage, humanity was not on Das Komittee’s side and the hissing from the paparazzi continued and the audience couldn’t barely hold their attention. Well it was 11p.m by now and altough and Alex and Simon had had their dinner the rest of us had not and were clearly agitated. A brave effort and continued refining and experiment should see Das Komittee build a kindred following down the road.
By the end it was all done and said and the world was relieved, and as this author looked around him he came across the sudden visage of the show’s organizer- Mr Rick Davy who was silently looking out into space and probably thinking to himself:
“Yes, it was a disaster, but at least it was a delicious disaster.”
