With barely any skin showing, we were surprised to still be exposed to the body through the use of transparent material. One standout was a black crepe coatdress with leather sleeves whose v-neck dipped nearly to the waistline. Instead of revealing a full bare chest, or the trashy use of stickers a la Lindsay Lohan for Ungaro, a thin mesh bodysuit finely covered the open space.
Each piece was notably body-conscious and left us conscious that the bodies chosen to sport them were beautifully flawless. No need for rigidly structured shapes, instead the lines were soft, draping, light, airy, and feminine. The pointed wedged boots provided the hardest lines throughout the show. It was a display of true sophistication and complete refinement.
Loved this. So insightful and on the money. Very well. written
