Although just a post party for the sneaker pop up store on Crosby, everyone seemed to be in modern, modern outdated, outdated and vintage Gucci (wonder if that’s outdated as well). It was Gucci all the way and there I was in my James Perse (I forgot to ask Mischa what she was wearing). One girl who always looks great is Black Book Magazine’s Cayte Grieve. Like an angel in a sea filled with…, ok a “room” filled with 70% “fashionista façade”, 20% “I don’t give a shit, where’s the bar?” and 10% “I’m actually getting paid to be here”, it’s good to find someone above it all who was just enjoying the atmosphere for what it had to offer (which was free vodka and champagne, which squarely puts me in the 20%). Have to say that I do like the Bowery Hotel and its cousin the Jane Hotel (some of the same owners) as I have always had a great time there, rain or shine. By the way, the lamb chops are great downstairs….
