A prominent lawyer in the Phoenix, Arizona area is dead after his younger brother allegedly shot and killed him at an affluent area cul-de-sac, Friday morning.
James ‘Artie’ Arthur Eaves, 51, was found dead in his driveway near 44th Street and Camelback Road in the Arcadia neighborhood just after 8 a.m. The suspect, Christopher Arthur Eaves, 49, was arrested when he returned to the scene along with other family members after the shooting, 12 News reported.
No motive for the fatal shooting was immediately known.

A neighbor speaking to the outlet, told of hearing up to five gunshots ringing out and then someone crying out for help. Respondents found the victim with at least one gunshot wound.
Despite efforts to revive the man, the victim would be declared dead at the scene, leaving behind a wife and kids.
According to police, Christopher Eaves refused to answer questions from homicide detectives. He was being booked on multiple charges, AZCentral reported.
A search of the suspect’s car led to authorities recovering multiple loaded weapons, FOX10 reported.
Appearing in court on Monday, the suspect said his primary residence was the same as his parents with whom he lived with and whom he had returned with to the victim’s home after shooting his brother.
Christopher Eaves remained held on a $1.5 million bond, with the brother mandated should he manage to get out of custody pending trial, to maintain no communication with his own and his brother’s family, according to AZ Family.
James Eaves, widely known as Artie, was a highly regarded attorney who dedicated more than two decades of his career to Sanders & Parks. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he earned a strong reputation for his legal acumen.
