Frezja Baker, Charlotte, North Carolina mom remains missing after failing to return from a dentist appointment and pick up her 2 year old son amid questions and concern about a male associate.

A Charlotte, North Carolina mother who called to say she would be home within the hour, a week later continues to remain unaccounted for amid concerns for her whereabouts and well being.

Frezja Matisse Baker, 31, on Thursday, December 4 just on 10.30 p.m, called her family to say she was on her way after having dropped her 2 year old son with grandparents earlier that evening so she could make a dentist appointment. At the time the mom said she would be there within the hour, only to never arrive.

Where is Charlotte mom of 2 year old boy?

According to the woman’s family, Baker was last seen at a Quick N Ez gas station on LaSalle Street in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Charlotte, WCNC reported.

Nearly one week later, neither Baker nor her vehicle have been accounted for.

Concerned family members say it’s unlike Baker to go days without contacting anyone, especially her 2-year-old son. Family have since filed a missing persons report with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) as the search intensifies for the missing woman.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police on Wednesday released new images of Baker and her vehicle a gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with temporary South Carolina tag HBL-5984A captured on surveillance video from the gas station

Family members according to WCNC said they learned officers had searched a wooden area nearby the gas station where surveillance last captured Baker.

The family told the outlet that Baker was last seen with a man they describe as an associate. Since then, they haven’t heard a word from her and say her sudden silence, including on social media, is not normal.

Missing Charlotte mom was last seen with male associate

‘What was suspicious to me is that she didn’t respond,’ Ty, Baker’s godsister told WCNC. ‘It is not like her not to hear from her at all.’

Asked about the male associate, family members said that the man had not been forthcoming in his dealings with the missing woman according to WCNC.

According to Baker’s brother, witnesses reported seeing her Thursday night at a Cook Out on West Sugar Creek Road and at a Quick N EZ gas station near LaSalle Street.

To date CMPD has not offered any answers as the ‘frustrated’ family intensified their own search for the missing woman.

Come Wednesday, family members continued distributing flyers across Charlotte, checking dead-end streets and areas they believe someone could hide a car. They’re urging the public to pay close attention to Baker’s photos and report anything that might help locate her.

CMPD offered they would share updates once they had more answers as they continued their investigations.
