Gabriel Williams and Kimahri Blevins of Pace, Santa Rosa County, Florida accused of luring teen girl, Danika Troy into the woods, shooting her dead and then setting her body in fire as investigators seek motive.
Two Florida teens are accused of luring a 14-year-old girl ‘that they had a falling out with’ into the woods before shooting her multiple times and setting her corpse on fire.
Gabriel Williams, 16, and Kimahri Blevins, 14, of Pace, were arrested and charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the death of Danika Troy.
Troy’s mother last saw her on November 30, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson said during a Thursday press conference.

The next morning at around 7am, Troy was reported missing as a runaway.
‘Unbeknownst to the mother, Troy was murdered the previous night,’ Johnson said.
The teen girl’s body was found – charred with gunshot wounds – in a remote wooded area on December 2 at around 11am.
Investigators found multiple rounds of live ammunition nearby and evidence of a fire. Williams allegedly stole his mother’s handgun to carry out the crime, Johnson said.
According to police, the alleged killer teens were friends with Troy from school, only for their friendship to be fractured over Thanksgiving break.
Williams told investigators Troy made comments over social media that upset him.
The teen boys allegedly plotted to kill Troy because she blocked Blevins on social media and called Williams ‘worthless and a gang-banger,’ Law & Crime reported.

Nevertheless questions remain behind the motive.
‘They have been interviewed, but the motive that we’re getting doesn’t fit the forensics or any facts of the case,’ Sheriff Johnson said.
A witness allegedly told investigators that Williams and Blevins had planned out the murder, but had only anticipated shooting her once. Williams is alleged to have set Troy on fire.
On the night of the murder, Blevins’ mother caught her teen son sneaking back into his house, according to Law & Crime.
The boy allegedly told his mother that he went out to have a cigarette, but she told police that she did not smell any smoke on him.
Sheriff Johnson said the accused teen killers had prior ‘run-ins’ with the law while declining to elaborate if they had ever been arrested.
Williams and Blevins are currently being held at the Santa Rosa Juvenile Detention Center without bond. Johnson said he wants them charged as adults.

A GoFundMe has been created to help her family cover funeral expenses for the victim.
On Monday, Avalon Baptist Church is hosting a candlelit vigil to honor Troy’s life.
‘Let’s come together as a community to lift her memory, hold space for healing and remind one another that love is stronger than violence,’ the church wrote in a statement.
