Ariel Spillner, Deforest, Wisconsin woman and Concordia University pharmacy student shot and killed in Milwaukee, second woman also shot and now arrested.
What exactly went on? A D, Wisconsin woman was shot and killed Tuesday night along with a second woman injured who was later involved as the suspect according to Milwaukee police.
Ariel Spillner a Deforest, Wisconsin native and a pharmacy student at Concordia University was shot and killed at a residence near 39th Street and Lancaster Avenue circa 10 p.m, Tuesday night. Spillner passed away at the scene.

What led up to Concordia University Pharmacy student being shot & killed?
A second woman was also shot and taken to hospital only to later be arrested and charged with the pharmacy student’s shooting death WISN reported.
The identity of the second woman was not revealed nor whether the two women knew each and if so, in what capacity? The area is known to be a hot spot for local crime and drug dealing.
Police continue to collect witness statements and surveillance footage from the area. Authorities had yet to say what led up to the gun violence.
The victim was a student at Concordia University’s School of Pharmacy, with one year of classes remaining. Spillner according to her family had been living in the Menomonee Falls area while attending school.
Prior to attending Concordia, Spilner had graduated from DeForest High School and played college basketball at Clarke University.
Charges pending review by Milwaukee prosecutors
In a statement to WISN 12 News, Concordia University said, ‘The Concordia University community is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Ariel Spillner, a student in our School of Pharmacy. Our hearts and prayers are with Ariel’s family, friends, classmates and all who knew and loved her. Counseling and pastoral care are being offered to members of our campus community as we grieve together. We take comfort in the promise of Christ’s presence and pray for God’s peace to surround all who mourn Ariel’s passing.’
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office.
