The universe almost always knows where you live… An Ohio woman has received a large dollop of karma after she found herself being fired after leaving a Columbus waiter a ‘nasty’ message (along with zero tip) on a restaurant bill in which she targeted the server’s ethnicity.
The customer, who dined at Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Columbus, wrote ‘I hope Trump deports you!!!’ on the signature line of the bill.

Racist realtor tries to gaslight social media
She had spent $87.84 at the restaurant, but instead of leaving a tip, she wrote, ‘Zero, you suck,’ followed by the derogatory message.
It wasn’t long before the comments went viral after a worker at the eatery shared a photo of the receipt on Facebook. And the internet being the internet, the ‘racist’ customer was soon identified and given a full unabridged version of karma in a sh*t storm.
In the corner of the bill was the customer’s name – Stephanie Lovins – and after some internet sleuthing, the employee discovered that she was an experienced realtor with 27 years at Century 21, the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization.
Following the public backlash, Lovins took to a local Facebook page in an attempt to gaslight address the situation by claiming her ‘credit card was lost/stolen and someone attempted to use it.’
Do you suppose?
She stated that she had been inundated with notifications from people since the story went viral, whose concerns she declined to address, instead only to focus that the ‘missing’ card had been reported to her bank.
Lovins insisted the mayhem was the consequence of ‘scammers and profile hackers’ and thanked her followers for their ‘patience.’

Cazuelas Mexican Cantina have the last laugh
And it nearly worked. Except for the part where the restaurant’s marketing manager, Fabio Oribio, going the extra step and reviewing CCTV of the engagement and confirming that it was indeed Lovins who wrote the note, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
And the devil swiftly responded.
Lovins was promptly fired (presumably fearing controversy and having a rabid unabashed racist amongst them) by her employer, with Century 21 releasing the following statement: ‘We are aware of the situation with the agent in question. Hate has no place within the Century 21 brand, and we are taking this very seriously,’
‘After investigating the situation and connecting with the respective broker, as all companies affiliated with the Century 21 brand are independently owned and operated, we can confirm that this agent is no longer affiliated with the brand.’
In other words, ‘we wash our hands of this busted racist.’

Anti immigration fervor with the return of Donald Trump
Also responding to the fiasco was Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant who shared on social media:
‘We believe in the power of respect, tolerance and acceptantance.
‘Recently, one of our team members faced an unacceptable situation, and we stand firmly against any form of hate or discrimination.’
‘It was a normal Sunday; things got a little busy, so the wait could have been a little longer than usual, but we aren’t really sure what made her write that.’
The outlet also confirmed that the waiter’s name was Ricardo and that the server is a U.S. citizen working two jobs.
A GoFundMe has since been started for him, in an effort to ‘give him the tip he deserves.’
It has now raised over $20,426.
The episode comes amid an upswing in antipathy and targeting towards immigrants in the United States with the return of President Donald Trump who had openly campaigned on ‘deporting’ illegal immigrants from the U.S (as a panacea to the ongoing economic misery felt by most and the slipping American Dream).
Trump’s return to office has emboldened many to target and harass who they regard as illegals. Just last week a Florida man was arrested after turning up to an Orlando apartment complex brandishing a fake homeland security badge and harassing residents. In other incidents, an 11 year old girl, threatened with deportation by her classmates went on to take her own life.
