The 21 year old caller, a former student at the high school where her mom worked, reportedly said her father was intoxicated and throwing items inside the house and then said her father was armed with a gun, WGN9 reported.
Investigators said 911 operators heard the man saying that everyone was going to die before the sound of gunfire.

Fundraiser to help surviving children
On Saturday afternoon, Portage Township Schools said Brandy was someone that went above and beyond for her students and all those that knew and loved her.
‘I have 2,200 kids. Almost everyone of them know who Mrs. Manville is, so as you might understand, it’s going to be whatever the kids need as much. As we preach education, it will be secondary this week,’ Portage High School Principal Michael Stills told WGN News.
A GoFundMe has also been set up to help Brandy’s family courtesy of Brandy’s best friend, Olivia Chelich.
Stated the fundraiser in part, ‘There is so much I could say about Brandy. She was the absolute best mother in the world to her children. There was nothing in this world that meant more to her than Ethan and Hayleigh. Being a mother was her favorite job, and she was the best person for it. Her children always felt her love and knew they had her in their corner.’
As of Sunday noon, over $30K had been raised of a $75K initial target.
Reflected Chelich talking to press, ‘I’m so sorry. This is not fair. This was not how it was supposed to be.’
