Ebonie Holm, Virginia woman stabs her mother, Marie Boynton to death at Danville residence. Victim found with multiple stab wounds during welfare check.
A Virginia woman is behind bars for allegedly stabbing her mother to death over the weekend.
Ebonie Michelle Holm, 44, of Danville upon her arrest was charged with second-degree murder of Marie Boynton, 61.
The daughter remains held in the Danville City Jail without bond according to Danville government services.
The Danville Police Department conducted a welfare check at the Danville residence at 11:45 a.m, Saturday morning located on the 100 block of Wimbish Place. Officers found the the mother suffering from stab wounds, with the victim pronounced dead a short time later by the Danville Life Saving Crew.
No one else is being sought.
Of note, WFXTR reports the incident as the seventh homicide in Danville in 2023.
