Marla McEntire, Calhoun, Georgia woman gives birth in toilet at 40 weeks, didn’t know she was pregnant, no symptoms, even doctor and chiropractor missed it, with woman missing period just once.

A 34-year-old woman from Georgia, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the toilet, insisting she had no idea that she was pregnant. Despite the woman being on birth control, the new mom unknowingly carried the baby for 40 weeks.

Marla McEntire of Calhoun, according to social media said that she had missed just one period during her pregnancy but dismissed it after taking a pregnancy test that came out negative. She experienced no other typical pregnancy symptoms, such as a growing belly or morning sickness.

McEntire first noticed something unusual when she began experiencing hip pain and stomach issues in January. She went to a chiropractor and a doctor, but neither of them caught the fact that she was pregnant.

McEntire, who’s 5 feet tall and 160 pounds normally, never had a noticeable baby bump in the nine months leading up to her child’s February birth, she said.

‘I just looked like maybe I ate a big burrito,’ McEntire told the nypost. ‘If you saw my size and the way that I didn’t show, it’s astonishing how he could be in there and me not know it.’

‘I just went on about my life,’

The mother-to-be only ever suspected she might’ve been pregnant when her period failed to arrive in August — but a Clearblue pregnancy test came back negative.

‘I just went on about my life,’ McEntire told the nypost, with her periods resuming regularly after that.

‘I never felt any kicks — I never felt anything,’ McEntire said.

McEntire’s pregnancy even went undetected by a doctor she visited while struggling with stomach pain in January — just one month before she gave birth.

The doctor chalked McEntire’s discomfort up to having her gallbladder removed at 23, which often makes her constipated.

Then, on the night of February 27, McEntire thought she was experiencing constipation and sent her father to the store to buy laxatives. But on her fifth trip to the bathroom, the woman realized she was in labor.

‘I looked down in the toilet, and he is in there with water up to his ears and right under his chin, just looking back up at me, like, ‘Are you going to get me out of here mom?’’ McEntire told the nypost.

Marla recounted the episode to her TikTok followers in a series of videos, ‘I had just had Atlas in the toilet, I looked down and see that he’s alive and I yell for my dad. My dad comes in there and helps me get the baby out of the toilet because obviously he is still attached at this point and it’s a little hard for me to get him out.’

Her father, Kevin, called 911 for advice, and the EMTs instructed him to tie the umbilical cord off. Not feeling comfortable doing that, Kevin improvised by using a potato chip clip until the EMTs arrived. After McEntire and her newborn were eventually taken to the hospital for check-ups, both mother and baby were found to be doing well.

Despite the happy outcome, Marla revealed that there are still issues with the paternity of the baby’s father that she is dealing with.
