Kadejah Michelle Brown Mississippi mother shoots husband Jeremy dead on FB Live during argument over housework and taking care of couple’s children.
‘Don’t touch me!’ A Mississippi woman has been charged with murder after livestream on Facebook showed her allegedly shooting her husband dead during an argument as horrified friends and family watched on in real time.
Kadejah Michelle Brown, 28, of Columbus, and her husband, Jeremy Brown, were captured fighting in on Facebook Live, which was livestreamed on Saturday, police said.
Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins told WCBI that the couple had been arguing most of the night and that Jerry was trying to leave the apartment to defuse the situation.
Kadejah and her own mother go back and forth discussing how Jeremy is not around to help her with the housework and children before Jeremy walks in the door.
‘Don’t touch me! Tell your daughter to keep her hands off me,’ he says while holding a phone up to his ear while Kadejah’s mother, is heard in the same room.

‘Don’t touch me! I’ll call the police over that!’
‘What is the conversation you want to have,’ Kadejah repeatedly asks him as he prepares to leave.
As the wife becomes increasingly physical, her mother accosts the man.
‘You’re supposed to be here!’ Kadejah says as she berates Jeremy for not helping with their kids.
‘Don’t touch me! I’ll call the police over that!’ Jerry tells her as the confrontation increasingly becomes heated and physical.

‘This is your family, you’re supposed to be here helping, taking care of the kids,’ Kadejah’s mother is heard saying in the background.
At one point, the picture goes black, but the escalating argument is still heard for several seconds before a single gunshot is heard among wails of crying.
‘I’ll kill your a**, b**ch.’
Just before the shot is heard, Kadejah is heard yelling ‘I’ll kill your a**, b**ch.’
Kadejah in the immediate aftermath is heard saying, ‘I don’t wanna go to jail’ and her mother running out of the house screaming ‘help me’ amid crying from the couple’s children.
According to social media posts, the couple had four kids together.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the apartment at 500 Green Tree Drive about 7:40 a.m. Saturday and arrested Kadejah, who was arrested and charged with murder, police said.
‘It appeared that Brown and the victim were involved in an argument that turned physical. This incident was captured on audio / video on Facebook live,’ the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office stated in a Facebook release.
The husband died of a single gunshot wound and a 9mm pistol was recovered at the scene, according to police.

According to Jeremy’s Facebook page, the couple celebrated their anniversary earlier this month.
In a post from October, the husband conceded not having the ‘perfect’ relationship.
‘I JUST WANT TO SAY I KNOW PEOPLE LIKE TO JUDGE ABOUT ME AND MY WIFE RELATIONSHIP ABOUT US BEING SO PERFECT. WE ARE NOT PERFECT WE ARE HUMANS JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE,’ Jeremy wrote.
‘YES I HAVE 4 CHILDREN WITH MY WIFE NAW NOT BY MULTIPLE WOMAN JUST WANTED TO LET THAT BE KNOWN JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE TO RUN AND TALK.… IF YOU GONE TALK SPEAK FACTS…’ he continued.
According to Sheriff Hawkins, the couple’s relationship was marred by a history of ongoing domestic violence.
Said Sheriff Hawkins in a statement: ‘This was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim. Fortunately, Brown is in custody and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable’.
Kadejah Michelle Brown remains held in custody without bond.
