Tyler Wyatt a 21 year old Brooklyn man has died after leaning against a fourth floor apartment window screen and plunging to his death below.
The man’s death comes while the East Williamsburg resident was drinking and attending a house party a few doors from his residence in the early morning hours of Saturday, circa 2.33 am.
Upon arriving at the scene at 924 Metropolitan Avenue, officials found the ‘drunk man’ sprawled on the pavement, unconscious and unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at nearby Woodhull Hospital reported the nydailynews.
According to his social media profiles, he was from New Orleans and attended NYU.
The investigation is ongoing. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
According to the nypost, the tragedy was the second death from a fall in Brooklyn in less than 12 hours.
Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, a teen boy fell to his death and another teen was injured as they tried to hop between rooftops in Bushwick.
The deceased boy, 13 years old, was rushed to Kings County Hospital with head trauma, but he could not be saved. The other teen, a 15 year old boy only survived after falling on top of the first teen, suffering a broken pelvis.
