Donald Trump debate sniffles cocaine theory: Was the GOP presidential hopeful on medication and for what? Or just a case of nerves?
In the hours after Donald Trump went to head to head with Hillary Clinton in the first of three presidential debates the web was consumed with the real estate honcho’s propensity to sniffle. Not just once, not just twice, but over and over. So what gave?
Perhaps reading into the minds of gasping television viewers, one time (Democratic) presidential nominee, Howard dean tweeted: ‘ Notice Trump sniffing all the time.’ ‘Coke user?’
That was enough to let the floodgates running with an avalanche of twitter users wondering if in fact Donald Trump was on cocaine? Or at least disjointed at the helm.
Commented one user, JustJanis @jsavite: ‘Drinking water, sniffling, huffing…. 58x Trump sniffed and interrupted during the first debate,’

Trump either has a coke problem or a mild allergy to women who don’t flinch when he interrupts them #LateShowLive pic.twitter.com/cyOFmyrMbw

Also joining the Donald Trump cocaine theory was TV personality, Stephen Colbert of the ‘The Late Show,’
Tweeted the funny man: ‘Trump sounded like the coked up best man in the bathroom at a wedding,’
His constant sniffling also inspired a parody Twitter account known as @TrumpSniff that poked fun at his health on stage at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.
It’s unclear if Trump, who often boasts about his “excellent health,” was sick during the debate. Time will tell if this was a just one off or the beginning of something more serious and unwavering. In the meantime, let’s hand Donald a bottle of nasal decongestants ….
