A stray Calico cat in search of food has become adopted by Russia’s Leningrad Zoo after a resident lynx cat took a strong liking to the stray cat. Rather than mauling the smaller stray cat, the two, told officials soon became inseparable best friends.
With authorities yet to understand how the stray cat was able to get inside the lynx’s enclosure, the cat would come to bond with the lynx, becoming inseparable with the larger class of cat. Rather than separating the two, zoo officials decided to adopt the stray and let her stay in the exhibit. The two are now said to be happy and permanent company to each other.
