Because even teenage girls hate each other…
Parents at Monett High School, Missourri are up in arms after it became disclosed that a rival girl’s basketball team spiked a water cooler the girl’s were drinking from with an entire cup of urine.
The disclosure has since led to concerns of possible diseases that may have been incurred after four individuals from rival Cassville High school urinated into cups and dumped one of those cups into the drinking water that Monet used during a February meet at Cassville.
In a letter sent by Monet officials to the parents of the affected girls bringing the matter to their attention, the parents and the girls were urged not to seek retaliation.
Told Superintendent Brad Hanson: ‘We are asking you, as parents, to help us work with our girls and their friends to handle this situation with professionalism and restraint.
‘We encourage you to support our stance that retaliation in any way stoops to the level of the offense committed against us and is counterproductive.’
To date the girl who poured her urine into the cooler has been tested for any possible infectious diseases that she may carry which may have been transmitted to the Monett players.
Cassville administrators have gone on to say that they have disciplined the players involved, though they said they could not say what punishment the girls received.
As a side note ended up Monett ended up losing the February meet 26-37.
