Randy Jackson just wants what’s his…
It seems all hell has broken loose in the Jackson household as a public show down that has pitted siblings against siblings and aunts and nieces against each other takes center stage. At stake is a slice of recently deceased Michael Jackson‘s estate that has ballooned to a whopping $475 million since his death in 2009 catching some family members of guard and crying foul when a legal document released last week came out purporting to be the final terms of the will.
The final terms of the will (which gave the lions share to Michael Jackson’s children and his mother Katherine Jackson) however were not much to the liking of Michael’s siblings, with Randy, Jermaine , Janet taking particular exception, leading some to believe that they were responsible for Katherine Jackson later being hijacked taken away from Paris Jackson and her brothers without their knowledge for political gain against the children.
Appearing on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show PoliticsNation Randy went on to say that he believed that Michael Jackson’s, his brother’s will was fake and that executors had engaged in criminal activity.
The estate for its part has denied any wrong doing and called the accusations ‘false and defamatory.’
windsorstar: Randy Jackson also renewed claims that Jackson estate executors – John Branca and John McClain – had concocted a scheme to forge the pop star’s signature on a will that made the pair administrators of Michael Jackson’s estate.
The Los Angeles-based executives have for years rejected such claims over the estate that, with rights to numerous pop songs, is valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
The executors even went so far to issue the following press release:
“any doubts about the validity of Michael’s will and his selection of executors were thoroughly and completely debunked two years ago when a challenge was rejected by the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals and, finally, the California Supreme Court.”
Aware that the world is looking on, the executors also took care to curiously post the following press release as well:
“We are acutely concerned about the welfare of Mrs. Jackson, and most particularly with Michael’s minor children. We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances.
“While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so. We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with,”
But it gets better. In tweetshe made yesterday, Randy Jackson also claims that his mother, Katherine Jackson had told TJ Jackson not to pursue temporary guardianship over Michael Jackson’s children. Apparently 34 year old TJ Jackson is now positioning himself to claim permanent legal guardianship over the children (one can only imagine the spoils that await him).
Tweeted Randy Jackson last night was the above picture with the following text:
Please everybody pass this around. How can Michael Jackson be on both coasts at the same time?
Interestingly prior to posting the picture he had also tweeted THIS IS NOT OVER.
It seems for the time one thing is for sure this is not over and if anything just the beginning as the family contests who gets to control the appearance of large swaths of money even if they are publicly insisting it’s all about keeping family unity intact. So far Randy you’re failing pretty miserably on that front.
