December 3rd, 2011 – MIAMI, FL, The Art of Ass.
Friday night, Andy Valmorbida, artist Raphael Mazzucco and Executive Editors Jimmy Iovine and Sean “Diddy” Combs, in collaboration with VistaJet, presented a selection of works from the newly launched, Culo by Mazzucco, with a celebratory dinner at Mr. Chow at the W South Beach.
Sitting amongst VIP I soon found myself standing next to Diddy himself. Anthony Haden Guest soon arrived and was seen attaching himself to what was shiny and slinky before dancing on a table with champagne in hand. Could we love him any less.
From there it was a who’s who of celebrity and acclaim. Let me name drop– Diddy and Mama Combs, Naomi Campbell (who wasn’t to be photographed that night according to her bouncer) Paris and Nicky Hilton, the regular bevy of Greek heirs (oh beautiful Stavros…) Russel Simmons, Robin Thicke, Will Smith, Andre Harrell, Adrien Brody, Pharrell Williams and of course the King of South Beach Roberto Cavalli (hawt bixch see here) and the artists whose wonderful book we were celebrating Raphael Mazzucco with Jimmy Iovine and Andy Valmorbida.
So how did this night end? Well, we stumbled out to another Art Basel event stocked with the famous before heading home to bed to have sufficient time to recover from our hangovers before the next night’s revelry.
By the way. I now own Culo… my coffee table book for when I can afford a New York apartment that is big enough to have a coffee table.
