After walking right in I was taken into my own world where the men liked men (and there where lots of boys at this party my friends) and the girls liked girls.  Not only did these guys of Spank turn a crazy night into the largest event in Williamsburg but they filled 4 rooms with diff DJ’s such as Will Automagic and Sean B., Jools Palmer, Lady Kier, Amber Valentine, Rich King, Tom Jackson, and Sirlinda. There where also lots of shows and art installations but way to many to list.

Lets put it this way if you dont like the lesbians in one room there were plenty of hot guys and drag queens in the next for your eyes and more to feast on.   Dont like the drag queens well there was the main room to “load” your ears full of house and dance.  Still not happy then there is still the upstairs yet again diff tunes and crowd.  Needles to say what i thought was going to be a normal spank party (pretty damn good already) turned out to be the largest and craziest Brooklyn gay gathering I have ever attended.

After a second night of watching the sun rise I had to get some rest.  I decided to sleep through the Parade, and lets be honest i didnt miss anything.  After some much need sleep I met some friends and attended a few apartment parties overlooking the shit show that was the street below.

Then it was to a little place in the west village for some amazing drinks and a small bite (very small at that cuz you know a girl cant be bloated at pride)!  After copious amounts of drinks we headed to the Gansevort hotel.  At this point I have to admit my friends started freaking out. I guess I sometimes forget the places and parties I attend aren’t privy to the masses, and yes i do have some normal friends!

Once on the roof we found ourselves a table facing the water and no sooner than sitting down than did the fireworks start.  Going on for an excruciating 20 minutes by the end of the show people where ready to party and boy did that roof shake.

Around midnight the place started to clear out so I gathered by gaggle and we headed to the Greenhouse.  Now I know you thinking shit greenhouse well shit greenhouse is right.  It was just the same as any normal night at greenhouse.  I didn’t even take a single photo there cuz girls we have all been to Vandam on a sunday.

Overall this pride was damn crazy.  From the parties to the view (you know I mean the men)  the weekend was one to remember for NYC gays.  I wonder how many people got married?
