Last night the school of American Ballet held their Winter Ball to great acclaim. Billed as a glamorous black tie diner dance (the pictures certainly attest as much), up to 500 patrons of the arts congregated at the David Koch theater for good cheer, merriment and bringing some much needed funds to the programs cause (which from what I understand helps fund scholarships, maintain studios and offer financial support to students beyond the classroom).
What a wonderful cause, and kudos to all those performers and the school for realizing some wonderful dreams and bringing rapture to audiences worldwide. We trust the pictures will inspire as much wonder as they did to this author’s eyes.
