Celebrating the Life of Clark Hulings, an American Master’s final exhibit

SHARE

Hulings first came to prominence in the 1960’s, where his work would quickly sell out, eventually at increasing prices. He went on to win remarkable awards and witnessed soaring prestige, thanks to his illustrations of the American southwest and Mexico. Many of the works displayed were never before seen by the public, including the more recent works inspired by his long stay in Romania, at the age of 82. Free to the public, his show will be accessible at Forbes until June 18th.

Of the 48 works on display, 21 will be offered for sale by minimum-bid, silent auction this Friday, March 25, 2011 in the galleries of Morris & Whiteside Galleries, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. For more information about the auction, please call 843-842-4433. The Galleries are open free to the public 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.  For more information, please visitforbesgalleries.com or call 212-206-5548.
