Here’s a story that’s got us wondering how easy it is to annoy people. Out of the Latvian news desk comes a tale of a man who shot another man during a showing of the film ‘Black Swan.’
telegraph.co.uk: Police said they had arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of shooting a 42-year-old fellow audience member who later died of his wounds.
The conflict took place as the credits rolled during a screen of the Oscar-nominated film “Black Swan”, according to police in the Baltic state.
Witnesses told the Latvian news agency Leta that it arose over how loudly the deceased man was eating his popcorn.
What makes this story equally beguiling is the fact as one psychological trauma was being played out on screen, another one was being morbidly played out literally a few feet away. Which makes us wonder if it was really the popcorn that made one man snap or the intensity on screen that suddenly affected him?
