Extremely low-cut, long dresses, ball gowns- Venexiana knows how to dress the Fall 2011 girl. Concerned more with the premature queen, than with young girls, flaring into youth—Kati Stern, Hungarian born designer–launched her rock style influenced line in 2003. Architect, pianist and entrepreneur, Stern’s approach to art, in her world, shines through elaborate dress wear and fancy embellishments.

Venexiana is known for being a rock n roll haute couture company, which caters to the everyday cool party and working girl. Dresses are always the entrée, be it sequined with leather, satin or floral. Be it an emerald satin gown with Swaroski embellished bodice crystals, or a plum chartreuse one shoulder gown—evening gowns laden with beaded necks or plunging fronts and backs–Venexiana caters to the glamorous beauty or bride. Starting with the least dressy, two of the most exquisite wedding gowns I’ve ever seen, last graced the runways. There was a rose Italian silk, with Swaroski crystal appliqué and finally, the regal ivory silk organza gown, with crystals.
