Provocative rhythm with fluctuating bass tempo and passionate crescendos certainly encouraged the models, strutting down the runway—and gave the semblance of an eagle burning and rising. Pencil skirts, fitted and adorned with side pockets- were far more prevalent than pants or suits, which demonstrate Francesc’s love for and emphasis on the female form.

Hands, neck, cleavage—fingers, waistline and upper arms were adorned with magnificent embellishments. Gold cuffs, rings, necklaces or belts, which along with the intense oranges, yellows and incandescent reds or burgundy, evoked the multiple phases of a phoenix rising. Silk one-pieces, dresses and blouses–reminiscent of the flames–captured the curves and accentuated the crevices of the female form.

Two off the shoulder cocktail dresses—one, white and studded with ashy gray–the other, marbled with flaming bright red and oranges, further captured the theme at hand. Burn and be born—die and rise from the dead, and you have a beautiful runway model.
