The Dawson Scleroderma Foundation is definitely Courtney’s baby, and she seemed over the moon about the success of the event and the amount of attention she had brought to the issue. Her family and friends turned out for the event from as far as Colorado, and through sheer force of personality she brought on numerous celebrities to make the event a big success.
David Meister’s collection was memorable, sending down what he called a “sexy cocktail/evening look” with lots of color. The special guest on the runway was Jaslyn Pennywell from America’s Next Top Model, who also got to rock some of the coolest outfits. Jaslyn is going to be a spokesperson for the foundation. To the delight of the guests and the other models on the runway, the other special guest model of the night was Ramona Singer herself, who provided all the jewelery worn by the models, donated the silent auction, and did a turn for David Meister by showing off a terrific coral cocktail dress to great effect.
