Off the back of Society’s Choice recent first initiative at Covet, and with running momentum, a crowded room of guests listened intently to National Wildlife Federation naturalist David Mizejewski as he spoke about the disheartening consequences of the recent oil spillage in Louisiana and the imperative to shore up a relief system and for guests to understand that the consequences of a ravaged eco system can be quite severe and need to be reckoned with, as a disturbed eco system in one part of the country would within time escalate to other parts of the nation.

From there the paparazzi sprang into action and began to click at anything that professed to have a near stellar three quarter angle and one by one the performers who included Larry Love and his band, Zach Maxwell, (heart throb) blues Beau Davidson, it girl Carole King (affectionately also known as ‘Disco Diva’), the delightful Dianne Wesley (who sang her chart hits), Ilyana and James Harell, as well as Carole King’s son- Deverne Williams got on the stage and captivated audiences while the kids in the paparazzi stand continued to shoot at anyone that smelled of glam.
