The six-story-tall statue of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, that Monroe, Ohio titles the “King of Kings” was struck by lightening last night causing it to burn down. There’s no doubt in my mind that that was a sign from God telling us he’s coming. Let’s face it, with the war, random earthquakes, oil spill, and people like Kim Kardashian there is no route for us to fall but down.
The statue , which was nicknamed Touchdown Jesus because of the way his arms were reaching towards the heavens mimicking that of a football referee, was built 6 years ago at the evangelical Solid Rock Church. It was 62 feet tall and 40 feet wide at the base.
Monroe police dispatchers say the lightening stroke around 11: 15pm which was only two hours after California residents experienced a 5.7 level earthquake.
You probably don’t want to believe me but I suggest we all run to our local church and start praying because I can hear God slowly counting down until his arrival.
