Other celebrities at hand were singer and first female signed to G-Unit records, Olivia, who was very social and seemingly having an all around good time with her manager. My recently befriended Haitian buddy sparked an interesting conversation with the former G-Unit lady.  Do I hear wedding bells?  Eh, no shot.

Future NFL draft pick, Andrew Quarless from Penn State, and two brawlers from martial arts’ Strikeforce, Jason Miller and Daniel Cormier, were also at hand, rocking some sort of schmancy fancy heavyweight belt.  I made sure to stay a few feet away from the duo, if only for the sake of survival.

With the night wrapping up, I decided to price out the brand new Rolls Royce on display.  The man standing guard politely informed me of the $275,000 price tag, asking if this was in my budget.  Give me a few years and I’ll get back to you.  Then give me another ten years.

All in all the charity event was a success, providing funds for the (still) much needed Haitian relief.  FYI – Thursday night is the start of the 2010 NFL draft.  Good luck Mr. Quarless!

  1. Yup, Stephon Marbury played for a team in China. Their season ended, though, so he’s back and currently a free agent again, with his next destination unknown for now.
