Ric Pipino offered to give me a free hair cut, but I explained to him I have been growing it for over a year now (still trying to shake that banker look). I also ran into the lovely Cayte Grieve from Black Book Magazine. Josh Hartnett was mingling discretely in the crowd and of course, a dozen or so beautiful models (hey, it’s fashion week). It didn’t feel like the down economy played any role in this extravagant bash. In fact, there were probably more than one thousand people snapping photos, drinking and dancing. The line outside was longer than two New York City buses and the temperature was dropping, but I managed to use my Jedi mind trick on the doorman as to not have to linger in the cold. I really do deserve an Oscar for my performance (maybe they can add a “best bs’r category”). I think my favorite quote of the evening was from this lovely intoxicated girl who said: “I’m from Lithuania, that’s where all the sexy girls come from baby. Don’t’ forget it.” Well, I certainly did not.
