SCV: How was it actually living on the set?
KS: Not glamorous. You never got any privacy, sleep, were always under the glare of the camera and anything you said or did would be used…
SCV: Against you?
KS: Yeah, sure. So eventually you had to learn that if you wanted to make a phone call or say something, you really had to think twice about it – cause the next thing you know it’s going on national television.
SCV: I’m curious, who are the main watchers of your show?
KS: I’d say young girls and gay men.
SCV: Gay men?
KS: Because they act like bitches and love it, they’re always stabbing each other in the back. They live for drama.
SCV: What did you learn during your stint as a reality star?
KS: How naive I was about the other worlds that exist. I think I come from a particular world where problems get solved rationally and as the show progressed I learnt that in fact there a lot of people who come from a world where self expression has morphed into pent up anger and aggression. Not everyone has the support network that you think exists naturally. It was a real wake up call… But in the end despite the frustrations and the demands of shooting I think it was a positive experience.
SCV: Would you do it again?
KS: I don’t know if I would.
SCV: Without divulging too much are you allowed to tell us how you made your mark as a bad girl?
KS: Well I’m legally bound to remain tight lipped, but I will say there’s a very interesting hook up scene between a certain someone and a Miss Playmate…
SCV: Compelling…So what happens now?
KS: I’m considering various options. Ultimately I want to work in the public relations field. I believe in being strong and independent and anything that enforces that is alluring.
But really I want to give back to the community, do volunteer projects, I’d like to use my public exposure to help create good deeds.
SCV: I also understand you will be releasing a single with famed producer Chris Young.
KS: Yes, it’s a lot of fun. Some of the proceedings will go to the ‘Ronald McDonald’ house.
SCV: So in the end who is Kate Squillace?
KS: She is a young woman looking to forge her own identity and empowerment and give back to the world.
SCV: That doesn’t sound so ‘bad girl’ to me.
KS: That’s ‘cause I’m really a good girl…
SCV: Except when you are a reality star.
KS: Exactly.
KATE FUCKEN ROCKS!!!!! She is so down to earth and might i add, my favorite from the show! If i was on the show i would have had Kate’s back all the way, she was the coolest one on there.

kate squillace is a walking STD. they are all nasty looking but i would hang with Flo. Portia needs to go be a mommy to her daughter and Oxygen needs to stop casting women with kids as “bad girls”.
