Has it become trendy to become a star on their deathbed?
It’s certainly been a sordid week in ‘Tinsel’ town, and now that the greats have fallen, have been rumored to fall we decided to wonder who’d make the most remarkable ‘comeback,’ if they were to fall. From bottom to top- our list:
5/ Jeff Goldblum you tube hits went up the roof when it was erroneously mentioned by New Zealand press that he had passed away (why NZ of all places?). That said, we haven’t really seen much of Jeff since whenever and he and his lawyers ought to take into consideration all the money he could suddenly make if he were to suddenly die.

4/ Phil Spector. Even though this music legend has disgraced himself with the recent conviction of a grizzly death, we do think this bad boy could reignite his image if he were to suddenly get strangled or some other horrific death. That way by dying as a victim, he will too shed some of his negative spin and go back to being admired by you.

3/Fonzie. We think Fonzie’s career’s could really do cartwheels if he suddenly came out of obscurity and had a savage bike crash while sharing a milkshake with Ritchie. ‘Happy days,’ here we come…

2/Bill O’Reilly. Even though technically not a Hollywood star, this man is a star in many a household and even though death would be cruel to force upon him we do think it would certainly lead to a surge in Rupert Murdoch’s ratings. Better still, let’s spare Bill, since we will always need him to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, that said a 24 hour rumor would serve Bill’s career rather well and not to mention Rupert’s check book.

1/ Finally, we really think Elvis Presley’s career could really, really reignite if he were to suddenly turn up, say out of his part time part job stacking cardboard boxes in Tennessee, do a few talk show come back shows, show some false retribution and then properly die within the month. It would surely boost his record sales to another level, and really isn’t that what’s it about in ‘Tinsel’ town?
