A mother and daughter were found dead at a Brooklyn apartment over the weekend in Park Slope in a suspected murder-suicide.

Notice of the calamity came after cops responded to a 7:56 p.m. 911 call, Saturday night for an assault in the building at at 386 2nd Street near Fifth Ave. in Park Slope where they found a 59-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds wounds.

As they searched the premises, police then found the woman’s 23-year-old daughter dead, also of multiple stab wounds, NYPD officials stated, the nydailynews reported.

Investigators say daughter killed mom then stabbed self dead

Investigators believe the daughter killed her mother and then herself, police sources said. 

Their identities are being withheld pending notification of family members.

Police declined to say whether there had been previous calls to the apartment where the mother and daughter’s bodies were found.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The women died in the same building where Jason Jackson and his girlfriend, Olga Kirshenbaum, both 34, were found shot in the head in their Park Slope apartment in a murder-suicide on Jan 24, 2024. Cops found a handgun next to Jackson’s body, leading investigators to believe he shot Kirshenbaum, then himself.

The women in Saturday’s stabbing lived on the same floor as Kirshenbaum and Jackson but in a different apartment.
