Michael Santiago and Michael James MAGA hat streamer & accomplice trolls under the handle @ScrubsNYC set fire to black woman’s boots while hurling racist verbal abuse including calling victim, ‘slave.’
Two wanna be social media influencers were arrested on hate crime and arson charges following allegations that they set a ‘black’ woman’s boots on fire after making racist statements while accosting the woman along a NYC street earlier this month.
Prior to the arrests, police shared photos of the two wanted men, one of whom was holding a phone on a tripod, while the other was wearing a red MAGA hat.
The men were subsequently identified as Michael Santiago, 31, and Michael James, 33, who both reside at an Upper East Side residence, in NYC the nydailynews reported.

The incident occurred on Feb. 19 near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, police said. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, was approached by the two men, the NYPD claimed.
According to police, the victim tried to leave the scene but the suspects tried to prevent her, only to allegedly brandish a lighter and set her boots on fire. No injuries were reported.
During the incident, the victim was subjected to a torrent of racist verbal abuse, according to recorded cellphone of the alleged incident.

‘I want to f— you right up your n—– a–,’ the man in the MAGA hat screamed. ‘I want to f— a slave. You’re my slave. You’re my slave.’
Responded the victim in one exchange, ‘Of course you do,’ Adding, ‘I could never ’cause you’re a slave — you’re a slave to my Blackness.’
Santiago and James were both booked on charges of attempted assault – hate crime, criminal mischief – hate crime, three counts of aggravated harassment, attempted assault, menacing – hate crime, criminal mischief, arson, menacing and criminal tampering.
Of note, the duo, who portend to be MAGA social media trollers, @ScrubsNYC under the label, have about 1,670 subscribers on YouTube, 1,400 followers on Kick and just 295 followers on Instagram.
