Nicole ‘Nikki’ Winder, Brazos County, Texas woman possibly abducted has pick up truck set on fire as authorities search for missing woman believed to be in grave danger.
A Texas woman is feared to be in danger after her pick up truck was found discarded and set on fire as the 53-year-old continues to remain un-accounted for.
Nicole “Nikki” Winder was last seen at about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, in the 19000 block of FM 974 in Brazos County, Texas. Shortly after, at approximately 4:00 p.m., her white 2025 Chevy truck with black rims was found on fire in the same area, according to The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the release, ‘investigators believe the vehicle’s torching was the result of arson.’
What happened to Nikki Winder and was she abducted and by whom?
The sheriff’s office has asked residents near the vicinity to check security and game cameras for footage between 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. that day.
Winder is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 130 pounds with green eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a dark grey shirt and pink pants.
‘Authorities believe Nikki may be in danger of death or serious bodily injury, and her whereabouts are currently unknown,’ the sheriff’s office said.
It remained unclear if authorities believe Nikki Winder was taken hostage and if so, was abducted by the same person who set the missing woman’s vehicle ablaze.
