Paul Flores, San Antonio, Texas man shoots and kills Edward Trejo after neighborly noise complaint escalates into deadly gun violence. 

A San Antonio man faces murder and other felony charges for allegedly shooting another man multiple times during an altercation that stemmed from a residential noise complaint, according to Texas authorities.

Paul Flores, 40, is alleged to have shot the victim early Sunday morning after having gone to a residence to ‘discuss’ a nose complaint just  after 5:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Cincinnati Avenue, near Fredericksburg Road.

At some point, a fight broke out in the front yard, spilling into the street, leading to Flores pulling out a gun and firing ‘multiple’ shots at the other man, San Antonio police said.

When police officers arrived at the scene, SAPD stated that the victim was found with several gunshot wounds throughout his body.

He was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead, KSAT reported.

Flores was taken into custody on murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges, records show.

According to jail records, Flores was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.

The victim was identified by friends and family as Edward Trejo.

Edward Trejo San Antonio resident remembered 

A GoFundMe described him as laughter, kindness, and love that touched all who knew him.

‘In this unimaginable time, we are coming together to support Edward’s family with funeral and related expenses, so they can honor his life with the dignity and love he so richly deserves,’ the fundraiser stated.

Wrote Oscar-Carmen Torres on Facebook in part,He was a beautiful light full of joy, kindness, and love and that light will never fade. We take comfort in knowing his life was a gift to so many. May Yhe Lord wrap your family in His peace and strength, and may they feel His presence carrying them through each day. May He Rest in Eternal Peace.’ 

Not immediately clear is whether the shooter and victim knew each other or had prior altercations. Authorities continue to investigate.
