Camila Mendoza Olmos, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, 19 year old woman goes missing on Christmas Eve after leaving home by foot only to never return. Search underway as family plead for her safe return. 

A Texas family are pleading for the safe return of a 19 year old woman last seen Wednesday, Christmas Eve morning.

Camila Mendoza Olmos left her residence on the 11000 block of Caspian Spring, Bexar County around 6:58 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24. A neighbor’s surveillance video from that time shows an individual believed to be Camila searching inside her vehicle for an unidentified item. The footage ends shortly after.

Investigators believe Camila left the area on foot, as her vehicle was still at the residence. San Antonio area authorities have sin e issued a CLEAR Alert for the 19-year-old teen.

Camila is described as 5-foot-4 and weighs about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama bottoms and white shoes according to KENS5.

Authorities say the only items believed to be on her are her car keys and possibly her driver’s license.

According to her mother, Camila typically goes for a morning walk. Her family grew concerned when she did not return.

‘I called her cell phone, but the cell phone was there on the bed and it was turned off,’ her mother Rosario Olmos told KENS5. ‘I put it to charge and went out to look for her. I thought I would find her like other times, walking, and we would come home together.’

Bexar County, Texas family plead for 19-year-old teen’s safe return

After checking with her boyfriend and Camila’s father and learning neither had seen her, Rosario contacted the sheriff’s office to report her daughter missing.

Family and friends spent Christmas Day searching areas near the home but have found no sign of the missing 19-year-old, Rosario Olmos said that it is not normal for her daughter to disappear and that she usually knows where Camila is.

‘I only ask God to please bring her back home,’ the mother said. ‘Bring her back to me.’
