Allyson Legora, 21, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J, was traveling in a UTV as a passenger when the vehicle overturned in Jefferson Township at approximately 10:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, leading to her being pinned underneath, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
Morris County Prosecutors continue to investigate
Despite being rushed to herself in serious condition, Legora would pass away from injuries sustained on Sunday, the Daily Voice reported.
The driver and a second passenger stayed at the scene. Officials had yet to say what caused the vehicle to overturn and whether there would be any charges forthcoming.
At the time of the student’s death, Lenora had been working towards her Associate Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Her Linkedin profile described her working in childcare.
A regard of Lenora’s Instagram page showed the childcare worker being an avid fan of horses, with the social media account showing her posing with and riding horses.
