Maria De La Rosa, Latin musician and influencer shot & killed in execution style shooting in parked car in Northridge, LA. No arrests. 

A rising star in the Latin music scene and influencer was shot and killed in an ambush while sitting in a parked car in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Maria De La Rosa, 22, was inside the vehicle with two others when, according to witnesses, two male suspects approached the car and fired multiple rounds before fleeing the scene.

The fatal shooting occurred Saturday at around 1:25 a.m. in the area of Bryant Street east of Tampa Avenue in Northridge, according to the LAPD.

Who wanted Latin singer and influencer DELAROSA dead? 

De La Rosa who goes by the stage name, ‘DELAROSA‘ was transported to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The two others who were inside the car and were left with critical injuries and were fighting for their lives according to ABC 7.

Investigators are now hypothesizing that the shooting could be gang related, according to investigators.

The up-and-coming singer was just making her mark on the music world, having released her track ‘No Me Llames’ aka ‘Don’t Call Me’ in English this past August according to KTLA.

The caption of her most recent Instagram post, which features pictures of her in a music studio and is set to her song, alluded to the singer being in the process of making more music: ‘Ocupando cocinando en el Stu … Ya es tiempo” — which means “Busy cooking in the [studio] … It about that time.’

At the time of her death, @delarosaaaa had over 40K followers on Instagram.

The motive for the shooting is unclear, and no arrests have been made.
