YouTube star known for his pranks and stunts arrested on drugs charges in Miami. 

This time the prank was on him. YouTube star Jack Doherty best known for his incendiary pranks and stunts was arrested in the Miami area Saturday on drug-related charges.

Doherty, 22, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and resisting an officer without violence, according to online booking records. The charging records accuse Doherty of possessing amphetamine according to NBC News.

Police officers arrested Doherty, 22, shortly after 3:10 a.m. at the 700 block of Washington Avenue, in South Beach’s Entertainment District, in Miami Beach, WPLG reported.

YouTube star observed acting f**ked up in middle of Miami street

According to the Miami Beach Police Department, Doherty, of Plantation, was in the middle of the road acting all f**ked up with his phone when he ignored police officers’ commands to get out of the way and said, ‘Once I’m done with this bet.’

Police officers searched Dougherty and reported finding a ‘half of an orange, oval-shaped pill marked 3, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine, and a black plastic container containing three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes.’

Miami-Dade correctional deputies booked Doherty shortly after 8:45 a.m. on Saturday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, records show.

The Youtube phenom has more than 15 million followers on YouTube, over 10 million followers on TikTok and more than 3 million followers on Instagram.

‘I accidentally got my a** arrested’ 

Doherty’s videos often center around different pranks and stunts he performs, with provocative titles, including “I accidentally started a riot” and “someone stole my Lamborghini.”

Hours before his arrest, Doherty posted videos of himself on a yacht in Miami and livestreamed his night out on app Parti.

Bond for Doherty was set at $3,500.
