Breasia Johnson, Arlington, Texas (aka Bre’Asia Simone of Cedar Hill) woman shot dead while man she was driving with survives after their car being shot at. No arrests.
Arlington Police are investigating a shooting that left a possibly pregnant woman dead and a man she was traveling with in a vehicle injured near a QuickTrip, Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. along I-20 near Little Road.
Upon arrival, police say officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound inside his car, and an unresponsive woman who had been shot. The woman was identified as 29-year-old woman, Breasia Johnson known legally as Bre’Asia Simone of Cedar Hill.

Breasia later died at the hospital, and the man was treated for his injuries. Two young children were in the car but were not hurt. The children were taken to Medical City Arlington for evaluation as a precaution.
Another car on the road was also hit by bullets, though no one inside was injured, WFAA reported.
The two victims were reportedly traveling westbound on Interstate 20 near Bowman Springs Road when they were hit by gunfire, police say. After being shot, the man drove to a nearby gas station to call police.
Tragically commentators on social media confirmed that Breasia Johnson had been pregnant at the time of the shooting.
Not immediately clear is whether the family’s vehicle had been intentionally targeted in a possible road rage shooting or the result of a random shooting.

The investigation is still active and ongoing, police say. No arrests have been made at this time.
