An Ohio TV reporter is in critical condition after being shot by a gunman who subsequently killed himself.
Winnie Dortch of 19 News was seriously injured in Monday’s shooting in Lakewood, Ohio, which police described as a domestic dispute, according to Cleveland 19 News.
Lakewood police said they received calls of two people arguing around Clifton Boulevard just before 8am.

Cops rushed to a house to discover the gravely-injured journalist on the sidewalk, alongside the shooter.
He had turned the gun on himself and was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter has not been named. Lakewood detectives say he and Dortch were ‘familiar’ with one another but have yet to comment further on the relationship.
Police recovered a gun on scene.
Dortch was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition.
19 News reported Dortch undergoing surgery late Monday morning. Her family told the outlet that the surgery went well.
Dortch describes herself as a mom-of-one on her X account.
Lakewood detectives are continuing their investigation into what led to the tragic incident.
