Joanna Kelly Lee breaks into Madison, Wisconsin home where she proceeds to make shrimp and pasta dish, telling responding police that the homeowner, who she named had invited her to the residence. But not all was what it seemed.

She was the un-invited dinner guest… A Wisconsin woman is alleged to have broken into a home earlier this week where she was discovered having used the kitchen and cooked herself a shrimp and pasta dinner.

Joanna Kelly Lee was arrested after officers with the Madison Police Department found the ‘hungry’ prowler making herself comfortable inside the home she’d just broken into, Fox News reported.

Police were called to the residence in Madison after the tenant returned late Tuesday evening only to discover all the lights on.

Upon cops arriving, Lee ‘calmly’ greeted responding officers at the door, insisting she’d been allowed into the home after identifying the resident by name, Fox reported.

‘Lee provided a detailed story about how she met the resident at a coffee shop earlier and had been given keys to the house,’ police told the outlet. ‘Lee had been in the house long enough to cook herself a shrimp and pasta dinner.’

The resident refuted Lee’s story telling police she was a stranger and was never given permission to enter her home or eat her food.

Investigators later discovered Lee had made up her story after going through the resident’s mail and finagling the resident’s name.

Lee was charged with burglary and criminal trespass and remains held at the Dane County Jail in Madison.
