A California mother of 5 has died after she was ‘repeatedly’ stabbed to death by her live in boyfriend in front of the woman’s children, Friday night.
Jessica Tinoco, 34, of Simi Valley is alleged to have been stabbed to death by Raymond Rivas, 34, during what Simi Valley Police described as a ‘domestic violence’ incident as her five children helplessly looked on.
Responding officers found the mother suffering multiple stab wounds to the face, chest and abdomen. She was taken to the hospital but did not survive her injuries, ABC7 reported.
Notice of the slaying comes as one of Tinoco’s children called 911, according to news release from Simi Valley Police.
Rivas, who was out on probation for a previous incident was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail on suspicion of murder.
Police did not say what the charges were in that previous incident, but jail records show a previous arrest on gun charges.
Family members told KTLA that Tinoco and Rivas had been involved for about 2 years.
Rivas is being held on a $595,000 bond but is not eligible for release without a hearing.
