Allexis Telia Ferrell, Canton, Ohio woman accused of killing cat in front of neighbors before eating animal at housing complex in Stark County. No known motive. 

An Ohio woman is alleged to have killed and eaten a cat in front of her ‘shocked’ neighbors last week.

Allexis Telia Ferrell, 27, allegedly first stomped on the cat’s head in order to kill the feline. The woman according to witnesses proceeded to publicly eat the dead animal in front of multiple people at a housing complex located on 13th street in Canton, Stark County.

She was arrested on August 16 around 11 p.m.

No known motive

Following the woman’s arrest, Ferrell was booked on charges of injuring animals, disorderly conduct and prohibitions regarding companion animals.

During her arraignment on Monday, bond was set at $100,000.

Allexis is set to return to court on August 26, ActionNews5 reported.

Not immediately clear is if the animal belonged to Ferrell nor what motivated the egregious display of animal cruelty towards the defenceless cat.
