Tulsa man breaks into home and sleeps in child’s bed

Charles Shunkamolah arrested after breaking into Tulsa, Oklahoma home only to fall asleep in children’s bed. Residents left traumatized. 

Maybe he was just sleepy? Or living out a childhood fantasy.

A Tulsa, Oklahoma man has been arrested after breaking into a local home only to fall asleep in a child’s bed.

Notice of the ‘home invasion’ came after a woman inside the residence called police of a possible burglary about 3 a.m. Tuesday after hearing somebody break in through the back patio door, according to FOX 23.

When cops arrived, they found Charles Shunkamolah in his underwear and soundly asleep in one of the children’s beds.

Shunkamolah told cops he was drunk and thought he was at a family members’ home.

During questioning the ‘stranger’ admitted to drinking, while adding that he had peed in his jeans which were on the floor.

He was charged with breaking and entering and public intoxication along with malicious injury to property KFOR reported.

A neighbor said the incident left her on edge.

‘Never feel too safe. Never feel too comfortable,’ she said.
