Missing Olathe, Missouri teen, Jasmine Mills found dead in back of tractor trailer as authorities say her death is suspicious. No arrests or known suspects.
The body of a Missouri teen girl who vanished while heading out to do odd jobs has been found in the back of a tractor-trailer according to authorities.
Mills was last seen Thursday going to help a friend throw out trash and clean — with her family saying the pal claiming she never arrived.
‘She pretty much looked at him like a dad or grandpa kind of figure,’ her mother, Deanna Peters said. ‘I trusted her judgment because she’s known him forever.’
Peters said she reported her daughter missing Friday when the teen didn’t respond to messages on her phone.
To date authorities say the teen’s death is suspicious but have declined to release further information about how Mills died.
‘She was happy-go-lucky,’ Peters said. ‘She was sweet, kind, loving, caring and too trusting, obviously.’
Mills’ younger sister, Alex Boll, paid tribute to the teen Saturday on social media.
‘You were amazing and I don’t know what I’m going to do without you,’ she wrote on Facebook. ‘I didn’t get to say goodbye.. Or I love you… My last words to you were ‘I’ll see you tomorrow.’ I wish I would have known you were leaving.’
Cops have yet to reveal the cause and nature of Mills death nor whether they are eyeing any suspect and why the teen may have been murdered.
