The pair were heard arguing by their downstairs neighbors at around 8.30pm on Sunday.
The neighbor called police and by the time officers arrived, the pair were both dead.

‘It’s very tragic, any time you have something like this happens,’ said Sgt. Brandon Shearer with Salt Lake City Police.
‘We don’t know if there were previous cases of domestic violence, but none had been reported to police, that’s why we encourage people to report — we have resources available to get people out of serious situations, or violent situations. The last thing we ever want is something tragic like this to happen,’ added Shearer.
