A Marathon, Florida woman has been arrested after allegedly taking to ‘swinging’ an ax at her girlfriend when she tried to break up with her.
So contested did matters become, the Miami Herald reported Jeanette Alexandra Suarez punching her female lover in the face during Wednesday morning’s fracas.
Things continued to devolve when the jilted girlfriend began destroying belongings at their apartment.
It’s when Suarez’s lover tried calling 911 that the 25 year old woman hit her same sex lover.
A police statement posted on Facebook noted Suarez at that point retrieving an ax, which she used to threaten her 46-year-old lover.
Noted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in delicious detail: ‘….While that was transpiring, Suarez went inside and came outside armed with an ax with a 12-inch handle. Suarez began swinging the ax. She struck a pipe outside the residence. She struck the rear taillight of a van parked at the residence, breaking it. The other woman ran in the opposite direction. Suarez walked toward the neighbor’s house with the ax. Suarez returned without the ax and again punched the victim in the face multiple times.’
Upon cops arriving, Suarez was apprehended outside the apartment, arrested and booked at Stock Island Detention Center.
The jilted girlfriend faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage and battery.
